Liz is a very talented and compassionate expanded-function dental assistant at Dar Dental Care, where she plays an integral role in delivering high-quality clinical care to our patients. Highly experienced and trained in expanded dental procedures, Liz supports our dentists through a wide variety of procedures while also helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and relaxed on their visits.

As an Extended Function Dental Assistant (EFDA), Liz is educated to perform higher-level clinical procedures beyond the general dental assistant. They include placing restorations, impressions, sealing and applying fluoride, and assisting with more complex procedures such as crowns, bridges, and cosmetic work. Her higher-level education maximizes efficiency and reduces treatment times, which is a win for patients and providers alike.

Liz is not only technically competent but also very empathetic and patient-focused. She takes care to explain procedures in plain, reassuring language, ensuring patients of all ages understand what their treatment will be and feel able to ask questions.
